Each time I cut the engine on the “Little Dipper” and let her drift at the pace of the breeze back down the northeastern shore of Hermit Island, I feel as though I am floating through an art gallery.
In this week’s “Little Dipper” blog, I spent time in that art gallery with watercolorist Dale Whittaker. We drifted while Dale painted. We quietly discussed light, leading lines, mystery, and seeing with an artist’s eye. Ok, we drank coffee and ate homemade lemon/chocolate chip scones too, but we did discuss art.
The essay will come to your inbox on Wednesday morning.
But, before then, I would like to give you an exclusive “subscriber only” peek at the gallery of Hermit Island. Walk through these photos slowly. Enjoy their color, their feeling, (maybe have a scone or two).
Thank you for your support of the “Little Dipper” blog. I appreciate you being a subscriber.
See you Wednesday. Feel free to exit through the gift store.
