Ok, a new essay is coming on Wednesday. As a subscriber (thank you) you will get it first and directly to your inbox. But before we get to that, I have a question for you.
We’re on the Little Dipper. Weather blows in. It is foggy, raining, but we are safely tucked in to a protected little bay. We have extra fleece. We have hot coffee in the thermos. And, we have ONE book a piece.
What book are you reading while we wait out this weather? What would be your fogbound reading of choice in the Islands?
Tell me yours in the comments and I’ll be telling you mine in the essay on Wednesday along with a little-known bit of literary history that is still visible here in the Apostle Islands.
Intrigued? Put your book of choice in the comments and see you on Wednesday. Oh, and pour me some more coffee would you?
— Jeff Rennicke
A delayed response, but I would choose "Until Today" by Iyanla Vanzant. It holds daily devotions for spiritual grown and peace of mind. Once finished, the read begins again.
