Our Founding Fathers who owned slaves knew of their hypocrisy when they wrote “All men are created equal.” Patrick Henry had the courage to write about this, admitting that he couldn’t imagine living without the privileges that slavery afforded him. Today, we recognize how our choices are harming the planet. Do we care enough to change?
