I have heard a few good ghost stories from locals when I started spending time in Bayfield 20 some years ago . They mostly centered around the houses of Bayfield , not the lake. Your story and pictures about Devils Island in the winter was quite ghostly . No haven’t done the ghost walk , but I can well imagine a few restless souls on the lake .
